Today, I’m comparing two more Lovense toys. One is a thruster, and the other is a rotating suction cup toy. That’s right, I’m looking at the Lovense Mission 2 and the Lovense Gravity.
Both toys share many similarities, but they also exhibit notable differences, ranging from their primary function to their waterproof capabilities.

I wanted to compare them all and decide which one is the best.
So, kick back, relax, and enjoy my comparison of the Lovense Mission 2 and the Lovense Gravity.

What is the Lovense Mission 2?
The Lovense Mission 2 is a Bluetooth-powered sex toy that has one mission: to give you the ultimate hands-free experience.
Your average suction cup sex toy can be fantastic, but it does have some cons. It can only go in one direction, its vibrations are boring, and it doesn’t have that cool Bluetooth control.
The Mission 2 suction cup component and the dildo itself are more separated. This means you can rotate the dildo 180 degrees while the suction cup sticks in one place.
You can read my full review of the Lovense Mission 2 in this article.
What is the Lovense Gravity?
Meanwhile, the Lovense Gravity is a thrusting dildo. If you don’t have a man, or you just want to get the thrusting experience minus the lip, the Gravity has you covered.
The Gravity also vibrates, which a real penis can’t do.
It also includes a suction cup, but it’s a bit more limited compared to the Mission 2.

How Does the Lovense Mission 2 Compare to The Lovense Gravity?
Now, let’s pit these two toys against each other.
Mission 2 vs Gravity – Main Feature
The most significant difference between the two products is their main gimmick. Both are suction cup vibrators with suction cups, but they operate quite differently.
The Mission 2 has a rotating suction cup, letting you try many different angles from one suction cup placement.
Another gimmick is its touch-sense vibration. The deeper the toy goes inside of you, the more intense its vibrations will be.

Meanwhile, the Graviity is a thrusting dildo. It moves like a person thrusting inside of you, in and out.
Its suction cup is a bit more traditional, but that’s understandable due to the nature of the toy.
I’m not going to put a clear winner here. The better product will depend on what you are looking for.
Winner: Tie
Mission 2 vs Gravity – Price

We’ve gone through many price changes this year, so note that I’m comparing the prices from August 2025.
Things may change. Right now, both are on discount. Though Lovense products are always on discount, it’s more of a gimmick.
The Mission 2’s price is $129, while the Gravity’s is $149.
So, the Gravity is slightly more expensive, I’m assuming, because the thrusting technology must be a little more expensive to make.
But in some articles, they’re the same price. Is it tariff nonsense? I’m unsure myself, but as it stands, there is a clear winner: the Mission 2.
Winner: Mission 2
Mission 2 vs Gravity – Noise Level
What if you want to have some discreet public play, or live with roommates or your family?
You want a quiet toy. So, how do these two toys compare? It does depend on your settings, so I’m looking at the average noise.

The Mission 2 is about 47 dB, which falls into the category of “Average room noise.” If your room is quiet and there’s someone close by, they will hear it, but the sound is maskable.
Meanwhile, the Gravity, due to its thrusting nature, is slightly louder at 56 dB.
This is nearly on the level of background music. If you’re home alone or with your partner, you may not mind the noise level.
But if you have to be discreet, there is a clear winner.
Winner: Mission 2
Mission 2 vs Gravity – Insertable Length
So, how much insertable length do you get with either toy? With the Lovense Mission 2, you get 140mm, or 5.5 inches. Not too shabby.
Meanwhile, the Gravity has 130mm, or 5.1 inches. So that’s about a half-inch difference between the two of them.
The thrusting nature of the Gravity does mean you will experience those inches differently, however. This is a little more subjective, so I’m not going to give a clear winner:
Winner: Tie
Mission 2 vs Gravity – Weight
What if you’re traveling? You want to ensure your toy is lightweight, and both are quite light, averaging about half a pound.
However, this weight is a bit different.
The Mission 2 is 175 grams for the toy itself, and 125 grams for the suction base. This means, in total, it’s 300 grams. The Gravity, meanwhile, is 310 grams.
Ten grams isn’t too much of a difference. However, the fact that both parts can be separated with the Mission 2 can make a difference when packing is tricky.
I’ve been on flights and have done the baggage weight shuffle many times!
If the Mission 2 did not have a detachable suction cup, I may have called a tie. But since it does, it’s a winner.
Winner: Mission 2
Mission 2 vs Gravity – Syncing

The fun of Lovense toys is how they can sync with each other. Your vaginal dildo may sync with your butt plug, for example.
However, not all toys are created equally.
In the case of the Mission 2, it can sync with other toys, but the Gravity cannot. I suppose this is due to the thrusting nature of the product.
But it’s still disappointing.
Winner: Mission 2
Mission 2 vs Gravity – Battery Life and Charging
Nothing is worse than using a battery-powered toy only for the battery to die when things are getting good.
Luckily, both are pretty good with battery life.
The Mission 2 takes about 82 minutes to charge and has 230 minutes of battery life, which translates to 3.8 hours.
Meanwhile, the gravity has 3.5 – 4 hours.
Both are roughly the same, and it also depends on how you use the toy. Higher settings will mean less battery life, and vice versa.
Winner: Tie
Mission 2 vs Gravity – Digital Content Integration
Lovense toys are smart and can integrate with plenty of pornographic content available online.
However, one toy has more than the other.

In particular, the Mission 2 is the better choice if you have more tech. The Mission 2 has full VR compatibility and advanced AI-driven media sync.
Meanwhile, the Gravity doesn’t support VR and has basic syncing.
This is because the Gravity is more focused on sensory engagement, while Mission 2 is more focused on immersion.
Winner: Mission 2
Mission 2 vs Gravity – Waterproof Levels
If you wanna get wet, both toys let you do so, but one has a difference! The Mission 2 is IPX7 waterproof, while the Gravity is IPX6 water-resistant.
What does this mean? An IPX7 is fully waterproof. You can use it in the bathtub or in pouring rain, and it’ll keep going.

IPX7 does have its limits; it can be in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. But I can’t think of anyone who would need to use their Mission 2 for longer or deeper than that.
IPX6, meanwhile, is still well-protected against water, but powerful jets. In other words, you could use this dildo in the shower, but don’t try to submerge it.
You may end up with a big paperweight!
Winner: Mission 2
Who Wins?
As you can see, every category is handed to the Mission 2, or it’s a tie. This is not to say that the Gravity is a product that you should miss; it does serve a different function.
However, if both gimmicks seem appealing but you can only pick one, I’d go with the Lovense Mission 2.
One reason why the Mission 2 is better is that it’s the second version. The Gravity 2 has had time to iron out the kinks.
It is fully waterproof, less noisy, and integrates with more toys and VR.
Reviews and Testimonials for Mission 2
To determine this, I like to read both reviews on Lovense’s website and sites such as Amazon.
On Lovense’s site, the Mission 2 has a 4.9 out of 5-star rating.

“I love the mission 2 now that I have gotten used to it, the touch sensitivity can be a little bit difficult, but once you get the hang of it, the door of opportunity is honestly limitless…” writes one reviewer.
On Amazon, they’re more critical at 3.5 out of 5 stars. Amazon seems to be the go-to place for the vocal minority who received dud products.
“After calibrating it, it worked for a couple of minutes, and then it stopped working. I can’t connect it to my Bluetooth anymore… Amazon is not helpful at all. It’s not that cheap for it not to work,” writes one reviewer.
Here’s hoping they got hold of someone. In my experience, Lovense has very good customer service.
But there’s always that one person who never seems to be able to get a hold of anyone.
Reviews and Testimonials for Gravity
The Gravity has the same feedback. On the Lovense site, it also has a near-perfect score of 4.9 out of 5 stars.

“This is the Cadillac of dildos. The thrusting power is incredible…. Paired it with the Ferri impromptu for extra oomph and I’m pretty sure I felt my soul leave my body,” writes one reviewer. What Cadillac are they driving?
On Amazon, the reviewers are beating it up with 3.1 out of 5 stars. You have your typical “Product arrived DOA” reviews, but there are some more substantive reviews here.
“It thrusted on the outside (some internal? Lol). And even when on high, it’s not that great. Plus, it’s loud. I guess it should be used with the stand more than in bed lol,” wrote one 3-star reviewer.
Interestingly enough, the Amazon page has neurodivergent representation. “As an autistic person, this toy is perfect since the hands-free function allows me to actually enjoy it without my brain ruining the experience. 10/10,” writes one reviewer. Good for them.
When reviewing products, you should also consider the toy’s appeal to neurodivergent or disabled folks.
Who is The Mission 2 Best Suited For?
The Mission 2 is a toy best suited for those who enjoy solo play. They need a dildo that can stick to the walls, the floor, and everything else in between and stay there for a long time.
They also like the idea of a toy with adaptable and responsive vibration. The sex robots aren’t here yet, but this is a close enough alternative.
Who is The Gravity Best Suited For?
The Gravity can also be used for solo play, as it emulates the sensations a person feels when thrusting.
It’s the perfect toy for people who prefer stable, hands-free thrusting with minimal adjustments.
It is also a great toy for enjoying hands-free play and controlling it via the Lovense app.
It’s a great toy to spice things up at bedtime.
