Lovense Nora and Calor Bundle Set Review – Couples Experience

We’re looking at another Lovense bundle this week. There are so many Lovense toys, and so many toys you can pair them with, that at least I won’t run out of material anytime soon. 

This time, I’m looking at the Nora, a classic-style rabbit vibrator, and Calor, a male masturbator.

There are other major differences worth pointing out, however. The Calor is IPX7 waterproof, which means it can be submerged in the bathtub. 

However, the Nora is IPX6, which means the shower is safe for it, but not the bath. Another difference is that the Calor has up to 2 hours of battery life, and the Nora can get double that. 

Finally, a major difference between these two is that the Calor has a heating feature, while the Nora does not. If heating makes or breaks your experience, may I recommend the Osci 3?

Again, there aren’t any reviews of the bundle set as a whole. However, there are individual reviews of each toy.

On Lovense’s site, the Nora currently has a score of 4.7 out of 5 stars. The latest review is short, but it gets to the point.

“I came so many times in a row, I love it,” writes one reviewer. 

Amazon, which is always a little more critical, still has a somewhat positive score of 3.9 out of 5. Most negative reviews come from folks who received defective products. 

More substantive criticisms have to do with the charger. 

“Whose idea was to make it a click-on charger instead of a charging port like every other thing that has to be charged,” writes one reviewer. 

I get what they’re saying. I’m used to the magnetic chargers at this point, but it’s more of a hassle. 

On Reddit, they seem to love the Nora. One review even gets into all the juicy details. 

“I had to stop after my legs were shaking uncontrollably and gave out; if I kept going, I believe I would have squirted for the very first time,” writes one user. 

Now, let’s look at Calor’s reception. On its respective page on Lovense, it also has 4.7 out of 5 stars.

On Amazon, its product page is more critical at 3.4 out of 5 stars. Critics claim that the Calor has little texture or sensation. 

“The vibration is negligible at best. The materials are great, the build is durable, and it’s so easy to clean…but you won’t be cleaning cum off of it because it provides no sensation,” writes one reviewer. Oof! 

Redditors agree with Amazon buyers. 

“I have a Calor, and it’s very disappointing. The smooth silicone surface gives very little stimulation, even if that makes it easy to clean, it’ll take a while to get you climaxing,” writes one user. 

Now, one thing you have to keep in mind is that male masturbators have an extreme “your mileage may vary” rule. Your experience may depend on your penis size and sensitivity. 

My suggestion would be to buy a cheap male masturbator and see how you like it. Then, make the upgrade.

How Do the Nora and Calor Work Together, and What Are the Benefits?

Lovense allows you to sync both toys to the Remote app. Also, each toy can be linked through long-distance communication. 

When you’re together, the vibrations can match and give both of you a shared big “O!”

If you’re having any issues, it’s usually something that’s fixed by restarting your devices or making sure you’re close. 

That being said, if your phone is older, you may have a little more of an issue. However, that is rare in my experience. 

Who Is This Bundle Best Suited For? Target Audience

The bundle is best suited for couples. The main type of couple who will enjoy this are heterosexual couples, or trans/genderqueer couples who have the opposite genitalia. 

When it comes to relationship dynamics, I feel like both short and long-distance couples will benefit. 

That being said, if you’re in a long-term LDR, I would recommend you ship the toys separately, and not together.

Do I Recommend Getting the Bundle Set?

Yes, I do. Both toys are strong at what they do. However, tread a little lightly with the Calor.  While a rabbit vibrator is generally a crowd-pleaser, a pocket pussy is subjective.

Your enjoyment may depend on your sensitivity, preference, and the size of your package. 

If you’re packing heat, you may want to get a bigger toy. If you’re long-lasting, a male masturbator with a little more oomph may be better. 

However, for the average male, it should satisfy. 

One thing I do love about Lovense is that they have many toys to choose from, and if one isn’t scratching that itch, you can always try something else.
