Lovense Nora and Max 2 Bundle Set Review: Worth It for Couples?

This week, I’m looking at another bundle that will rock you and your partner’s worlds. This bundle, of course, is the Lovense Nora and Max 2.

This bundle set includes a toy suitable for both sexes, making it a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day or any day. 

But you may be wondering if it’s the right bundle for you. This article will help you make a more informed decision. 

I’ll look at the differences and similarities between the Nora and Max 2, the reviews, and help you decide if this bundle is the right fit for you. 

Overview of the Lovense Nora

The Lovense Nora is a rabbit vibrator. If you’re new to sex toys and sex toy lingo, this vibrator has a small arm with vibrating “rabbit ears” designed to stimulate your clitoris. 

Meanwhile, the main vibrator is designed for insertion. 

Rabbit vibrators are quite common, but being a Lovense product, the main appeal is that it comes with smart features.

The Max 2 is a male masturbator. You may know these toys better by their most popular brand, the Fleshlight. 

The Max 2 is a little more advanced, coming with Lovense Remote connectivity, an air pump to simulate vaginal contractions, and the ability to sync to porn. 

Also, the Max 2 comes with several textured sleeves. 

The Max 2 is part of a recent revolution of male sex toys. For the longest time, male masturbators were looked at with some sort of shame.

The Nora and Max are the prime example of “Opposites attract.” One toy is meant for female anatomy, and the other for male. 

As such, the only similarities are that they come with Lovense’s features. Expect high-quality silicone, remote compatibility, and rechargeable batteries. 

Another similarity is that both toys are IPX6 water-resistant. 

Otherwise, they are very different toys, with one being a Fleshlight-like and the other being a rabbit vibrator. 

Another difference between these toys is the battery life. The Nora has a great battery, lasting up to 4 hours. 

However, the Max 2 goes only up to 1.5 hours. So, if you’re using the Nora and your partner is using the Max 2, make sure they charge it!

Are There Any Customer Reviews or Reddit Feedback for This Bundle Set?

There aren’t any reviews of the bundle, but once again, we can look at what people are saying about each toy.

Nora

On Lovense’s page, the Nora has a very positive reception at 4.7 out of 5 stars. One user (the names are censored for some reason) writes, 

“The Nora is 10 out of 10 on the O scale.” Now that’s a scale we can rely on. 

Another reviewer says, 

“I do love that this works very well. Only downside would be that it’s not waterproof.” 

That is a fair criticism. While you can use it in the shower, here’s hoping the Nora 2 will let you have a little bathtime fun!

As usual, Amazon is still slightly critical, but its score is 3.8 out of 5, which rounds up to 4 stars. Yay, math. 

User nona39 writes, 

“The toy itself is amazing, was recommended by a friend, and it’s absolutely mind-blowing. But the damn charger absolutely sucks. Whose idea was to make it a click-on charger instead of a charging port like every other thing that has to be charged?” 

And yeah, the Lovense chargers can be finicky. You always have to lay it down a certain way, snap on the magnets, and hope it charges. I have mastered the art of magnetic charging, but one day, I hope to see a Type C to Type C charge. 

Finally, one Reddit user, Singmypriase, had this to say. 

“The Nora is the best toy I have ever used. I can’t begin to explain how much I adore it. No matter how much I love it, I feel like it isn’t perfect. For instance, the clit arm is difficult to position; I have to bend it and hold it in place, which ends up hurting my clit from pushing too hard.”

Despite that, the best toy ever? Maybe they’re a machochist. 

Max 2 

On Lovense’s site, the Max 2 has a 4.6 rating. User Lilceech writes the following:

“Synced with Vibemate, and it was incredible! The patterns on the app are intense for this toy- The vibration is crazy, and it can give amazing suction!!!”

Amazon is a little more critical. Well, a lot more. It has 2.8 out of 5 stars. One user, literally named Just an average joe, writes, 

“I didn’t enjoy the Max 2 at all. Its mechanized stimulation left a lot to be desired. The vibration sensation was ok, but not anything like what I expected from a Lovense product. The suction was practically non-existent. The best part of it was being able to remove the sleeve and use that part manually. The toy is rather expensive, and I don’t think it is worth the cost.”

On Reddit, one user, rgm2073, had this to say, 

“I had the Max 2, while it worked great, it was my first lovesense so syncing to movies was awesome. It is louder than a lawnmower. I moved on to the Gush.”

While he’s exaggerating about it being louder than a lawn mower, I will say that the Gush 2 is an alternative that is worth trying. 

I have a review of that one as well. With all of that said, one issue with the Max 2 is that penises are more diverse than vaginas are.

Not to say that vaginas aren’t diverse, but penises can vary greatly in shape and size. 

Knowing you or your partner’s penis can help you decide if the Max 2 is a good fit (literally and figuratively) for the penis’s needs.

What Are the Benefits of Using Lovense Nora and Max 2 Together?

This toy is purely meant for couples of opposite sexes. That being said, there are many benefits to using both toys together. 

For couples who are in a close-distance relationship, these toys work well as a warm-up. One can use the Nora to masturbate or have the partner use it on them. 

For long-distance couples, the Nora can sync to the Max via the Remote app and respond to the thrusts made into the Max. 

Sure, it doesn’t beat actually having sex with each other. But Lovense toys do help to bridge the gap just a little bit, and that’s beautiful. 

Can You Use the Nora and Max 2 in Public and Solo?

No, the toys aren’t good for either. Being a male masturbator, the Max 2 is not a discreet toy, and neither is the Nora.

Why I Recommend Getting the Bundle Set

This bundle set is perfect for couples of opposite genitalia, and one reason you should choose either is that they are both good at their jobs.

The Max 2 is a fun little male masturbator, and the Nora is a great rabbit vibrator. 

That being said, if you’re alone or your partner’s genitals match yours, you won’t get too much from this bundle.

Also, another consideration is if you’re in a long-distance relationship. These toys can be great for that; the Nora can respond to the Max 2.
