Lovense Osci 3 and Max 2 Couple Bundle Set Review – Pros & Cons

This week, we are once again looking at another Lovense bundle. This time, it’s the Osci 3 and the Max 2. 

Now, if you’re new to the Lovense lore, you may know that the Osci 3 is meant for those with female genitalia, and vice versa. So, do opposites attract in this case?

I’m here to find out. I’ll be looking at each toy and deciding if they work well together.

Overview of the Lovense Osci 3

The Osci 3 is the latest toy in the Lovense Osci lineup.

These are G-spot toys that have a thumping and oscillating motion to target one’s clitoris, helping you to reach orgasm like never before.

Now, if you have an Osci 1 or 2, the Osci 3 is a huge leap. 

This version includes a vibrating clitoral arm, giving it a rabbit vibrator feel. It also has a heating option. 

While the battery life isn’t as strong as the Osci 2’s due to these additional features, it will still last you a long time.

Overview of the Lovense Max 2

The Max 2 is a male masturbator. Think of a toy like the Fleshlight or the Tenga line. But with a Lovense twist, featuring plenty of smart features. 

Besides the Remote app being able to control it, you can also sync it to porn and add a new dimension to your adult videos. 

The Max 2 also lets you swap sleeves with different textures. Some are sold separately. With these sleeves, you can masturbate with a different sensation each time.

What Are the Main Differences and Similarities Between the Lovense Osci 3 and Max 2?

These two toys couldn’t be any more different if they tried. The similarities stop at the fact that they are Lovense products designed to work with the Remote app. 

Then, the differences come rolling in.

The Osci 3 is a toy designed for clitoral and vaginal stimulation, while the Max 2 is a penis masturbator. 

The Osci 3 is fully waterproof, while the Max 2 is only splashproof. 

The Osci 3 also has more bells and whistles, such as a warming sensation. However, the Max 2 does have swappable sleeves.

Are There Any Customer Reviews or Reddit Feedback for This Bundle Set?

Like all of Lovense’s bundles, you can’t find reviews of the bundle itself, but there are reviews of each toy. 

Max 2

On Lovense’s site, the Max 2 has a positive rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars. One user, Lilceech, wrote that:

The vibration was “crazy,” and it could give “Amazing suction.”

Are we talking about a sex toy or a vacuum?

Amazon, meanwhile, is a little more critical. One user, “Just an average joe,” said that:

The suction was “practically non-existent,” and not worth the cost. 

On Reddit, one user, rgm2073 was overall positive about it, but said that the Max 2 was “louder than a lawnmower.” 

Hyperbolic, sure, but the Max 2 is indeed a little louder than most modern-day sex toys.

Osci 3

As of the writing of this, there are no reviews of the Osci 3 on its page. Maybe it’s because it’s a relatively new toy, but I’m unsure.

Maybe Lovense phased out their review page for their newer products. 

On Amazon, it currently has a 4.2 out of 5-star score, but there are only 11 ratings, so not too big a sample size. 

One reviewer, Kenli W, had this to say:

Amazing. I am a model, and I went live once I got it. And OMG get it. It works perfectly. and it hits the right spots. highly recommended, and my fans enjoyed controlling it.”

One reviewer, Alyx B, had a laundry list of problems. 

You’ll need a thick blanket and music so that you cannot hear it.

They also say the heating “isn’t very even,” and that it has the “same annoying thing to attach the magnetic charger.” 

Other complaints include that there was “way too much plastic than there needs to be” in the packaging, and the lack of a storage bag. 

On Reddit, one user had this to say:

It’s a monster, and highly recommended, don’t notice the warming function either, take a look at my videos, you can see how fast it works 😉

Feedback, AND a not-so-subtle way to promote their content.

With both toys, remember that your mileage may vary. Factors include genital sensitivity, living situation, penis size, etc. 

Know yourself a little before you make the investment. Spoiler: returning sex toys can be a little challenging. 

What Are the Benefits of Using Lovense Osci 3 and Max 2 Together?

Because these toys target opposite genitalia, you can’t use them together for one person. But if you have a partner, you can. 

There are several benefits to using these toys together in that case. Even if you’re in the same room, a bit of toy play can add a twist to your sexy adventures.

And when you’re separated, this set can get you both closer thanks to the Remote app. 

These toys can work well solo. Granted, because they are intended for opposite genitalia, you can’t use both at the same time. 

Can You Use the Osci 3 and Max 2 in Public and Solo?

But what you can do is use them separately if you have a partner. 

That being said, these are not public toys. Is that a Max 2 in your pocket, or are you glad to see me? And the Osci 3 is not exactly wearable. 

So, these toys are better suited for private use.

Who Is This Bundle For? Target Audience

This bundle is for several types of people, including:

One of you has a penis, the other has a vagina. If you qualify for this super-rare couple combo (joke), then you should get this toy. 

The bundle also works well for those in a long-distance relationship. You can sync the toys to the Remote App and link up long-distance.

Do I Recommend Getting the Bundle Set?

Overall, yes! But with some exceptions. 

First, obviously, you need a partner with the opposite genitalia as you. Otherwise, one of the toys will be a paperweight, or maybe a gift to someone special. 

Another issue with the bundle is if you’re in a long-distance relationship. 

These two toys are great for LDRs, but because they will come in the same box, you may want to order them separately. 

And as mentioned, the set may not be the best for first timers. If you don’t know your body too well, I’d recommend getting more economical toys first. Then, work your way up. 

Finally, another challenge is cost. Both toys are expensive, and while the bundle may offer a little savings, you may be better off buying them separately over time if you have a tight budget.

Otherwise, however, this bundle can be great for any couple. And real fast, I did want to bust another myth: that couples getting sex toys is a sign their relationship is failing. 

For too long, sex toys have been seen as a way to “spice things up” in a sexless marriage. Like putting a bandage on a sinking ship. But this couldn’t be further from the case 

Studies show that using sex toys can help the sex lives of people who are in relationships. And it’s not just for couples who may have conditions, such as ED.
