The first app I’m reviewing is one that you will use if you have a Lovense toy. This app connects your toy to your phone via Bluetooth.

Both the iOS and Android versions have a rating of approximately 4.5 stars. I’ve seen so many products that require an app have much lower ratings, so Lovense is doing something right.

On both the Android and Apple versions, Lovense Connect is a bit more divisive, averaging 4 out of 5 stars on the Android page.
So, it’s more positive than negative, but it’s not as uniting as the remote app. But on Apple, the reviews are 2.4 out of 5 stars. Ouch!
So, let’s first look at Android. As an aside, the Android version of the Remote app is rated M for Mature, which makes sense.
But the Connect App is rated T for Teen. Look, neither of these products is for kids, but the Connect App, which is for models, should ESPECIALLY not be for kids! Hopefully, they fix that.
Okay, icky ratings aside, what is great about the Android version?
“Excellent application and so reliable when it come to all of your interactive p2p (online media xxx) experiences ” wrote one user.
Negative reviews for the Android version primarily concern products disconnecting or features not functioning as intended.
“Toys are seemingly ‘connected’ and the test tip works fine, but when I start streaming, they are dead and not reacting to tips. I don’t recommend any of these toys for camming,” one user complained.
Here’s hoping this person’s fans understood and didn’t charge back.
So, why is the Apple version hated? Well, while the Android version seems slightly buggy, the Apple version has more bugs than the deepest jungle in the world.
“The fact that they expect you to spend over $100 on a toy only to have the accompanying software for the toy be absolutely impossible to use makes me so mad,” fumed one reviewer.

However, with so many complaints, it’s probably the app’s fault, too. Here’s hoping that Lovense can change course, especially for Apple users.

This app works well if you look at Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or even Brave, and you decide you want something a little more discreet.

What Do Reviews Say?
I could only find this app on the Apple store, while Google Play has a few that appear to be knockoffs.
So, I’m just gonna focus on what the reviews on the Apple Store say. Overall, the app has a positive reception at 4.2 out of 5 stars. But the reviews are… confusing.
The true positive review I found is this one.
“For spectrum adult site, everything you can imagine and more! Enter at your own risk, Guaranteed smiles for Miles! Oh, don’t forget to sign up for your frequent flyer program! Like everything else, you get what you pay for!”
What?
Okay, let’s look at this one.
“You keep adding clutter and not actually making the core features WORK. Let’s start with device syncing. I basically always have to remove and re-add devices when I want to use them with the app, so most of the time I don’t even bother, because there is NOTHING that is a bigger boner-killer than fiddling around with syncing devices to an app. Burn it to the ground.”
Okay, so how many stars has the reviewer given this app? Five? But the review is overwhelmingly negative.
I feel like I’ve entered the Twilight Zone reviewing this product. Uh, I guess you should check it out, but there are other browsers you can try that do the same thing.

This app has received mixed to hostile reception. On Apple, it’s a little more positive at 3.3 out of 5 stars, while the Android version has a pitiful 2.1 out of 5 stars.
“The toy control functionality is the highlight of the app, and I had the pleasure of controlling the vibration toys while connecting with people,” writes one review on the Apple version.
I like how formal they sound.
However, the negative reviews all say the same thing.
“At first, the app was alright and had very few bots/scammers around. You definitely were able to meet some cool people until now. Almost 85% of the female profiles are bots or some scammer. On top of that, they would ask you to call to take your coins,” writes one now-broke reviewer.
One reviewer, who gave it five stars so that people would see the review (whatever that means), also echoed that sentiment. “This app is great if you just want to talk to a fake account or a scammer. You will be bombarded with them as soon as your profile is live.”
Sadly, that is an issue with a lot of dating sites, particularly erotic dating. Despite all of the user verification, these apps are still filled with scammers or those who just want money.
