The Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 is a clit suction toy, also known as a clit sucker or clit vibrator. These toys function by sending pulses of focused energy to the clit.

Pleasure Air Technology
The pulses of air from the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 range from soft and tickly to deep and powerful, all thanks to the subtle nuances of Womanizer’s Pleasure Air technology.
I enjoy the air pulses from the Pro40 much more than other vibrators. The subtle waves of energy allow me to take my time but always lead me to an intense orgasm.
The Pro4 has 6 intensity levels to choose from. Though there could be more variation, 6 is plenty, with the highest intensity level still being quite powerful.
I didn’t spend much time at the highest level, preferring 4-5 most of the time before amping up to 6 as I approached orgasm.
If you use plenty of water-based lube, the sensation of this toy feels even better.
Lovely Design
The Womanizer X Lovehoney is a compact toy with a smooth design that makes it easy to hold and maneuver.
The toy has three color options:

It has a lovely tapered handle that makes it comfortable to hold.
Though it does not come with a spare suction head like many Womanizer toys, the included head is quite large, so it will likely be comfortable for most bodies.
I had no issues with the size or shape of the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40.
Extended Battery Life
When fully charged, the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 has a continuous life of about 90 minutes to 2 hours.
As I usually get off in about 15 minutes, this means the toy can last for weeks before I need to charge it again.
The Pro40 is easy to charge using the included USB cable. It takes about an hour to 2 hours to get it fully charged.
Easy to Clean
Because the silicone suction head is removable, you can easily clean the part of the toy that is otherwise the most challenging section to reach!
Thanks to its sturdy materials, you can clean the Pro40 using any mild soap or antibacterial wash. You can run it under a warm tap to rinse it.
How to use the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40
Clit suction toys look high-tech, but they are intuitive once you try them. The Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 is so simple to use.
The Pro40 turns on and off with a large power button located on the lower tip of the toy’s handle. The other buttons will control the intensity levels once in use.
To use the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro 40, it will need to be charged. To reach a full charge, you should keep it attached to the cable for about 2 hours.
To begin using the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40, you will place the head of the toy directly over the clitoris.
You can use the Pro40 while lying on your back, side, or stomach. I find it preferable to use clit suction devices while on my back, and I use one hand to control the toy.
I also prefer to use water-based lube when I use clit suction toys to enhance the sensations.
The suction head of the Pro40 is quite large to accommodate many body types.
To place it over the clit, you might need to spread your labia or move the toy around before it feels in the right spot. You’ll know it when you feel it!
Once you power on the Pro40, you will begin to feel the lightest level of the sucking sensation. The toy turns on at the lowest setting.
Using the + and – buttons next to the power button, you can increase and decrease the intensity of the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40.
I recommend spending time at the lower levels, especially if you are new to the feeling of a clit suction toy.
Fortunately, the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 never felt too intense or overstimulating. I was able to enjoy most of my time with the toy around the middle levels.
Once done with the toy, you should power it down by holding down the power button for a few seconds. Turning the toy off when you’re done with it will preserve the battery life.
Finally, clean the Pro40 thoroughly before putting it away in a cool, dry place.
What’s Inside The Box and Packaging?
Naturally, I ordered my Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 from Lovehoney, one of my most trusted retailers. As always, they delivered – literally!
The box arrived quickly on my doorstep in discreet, nondescript packaging. I also appreciated seeing how little excess packaging Womanizer toys require.
The Pro40 was packaged safely. In the box were:
- The Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40
- A USB charging cable (pin charger)
- A user manual
- A silicone head
How To Clean The Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40
To begin cleaning the Pro40, first remove the silicone suction head and submerge it in warm, soapy water. Any mild soap, like antibacterial hand soap, will work.
It is essential to clean this section of the toy thoroughly, as its crevices can collect bodily fluids, dirt, and debris.
You can then clean the rest of the Pro40 separately. Make sure the plastic cover of the charging port is sealed into place.
You may not want to submerge the entire toy in water, but you can run it under a tap to get it wet before washing it with soap or cleaner. You should then rinse the toy and dry it.
Caring for your Pro40 should also include caring for its battery. Be sure not to overcharge! Keep an eye on your toy and remove it from the charger once 2 hours have passed.
To keep the Pro40 clean from debris and dust, I store mine in a cotton bag. Unfortunately, the toy does not come with a storage bag, so you may want to find something to keep it in.
A plastic bag will also work.
Verdict
I wasn’t sure what to expect out of a redesign and re-release like the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40. I was hopeful that both companies would provide a quality experience as usual.
As soon as I opened the box for the Pro40, I was thrilled. Though it was not the same curved design as Womanizer toys, it had a great look and feel.
I gave the toy a quick rinse, as I always do with new toys, and then started charging it once it was dry.
I was also unsure how the toy’s 6 intensity levels would compare to toys with 10 or more levels. Fortunately, I wasn’t missing much, as the 6 levels were plenty.
